Linda YUEH


Dr. Linda Yueh is an economist and commentator on global economic issues, particularly the world economic environment, the state of major economies in Europe and the USA and China, and the rise of emerging markets. She had previously practiced international corporate law while resident in New York, Beijing, and Hong Kong.

She is the author and editor of several books, including The Economy of China, Macroeconomics, The Law and Economics of Globalisation: New Challenges for a World in Flux, and Series Editor of a book series on Economic Development and Growth. She is a fellow in economics at the University of Oxford, a visiting professor at London Business School, and a research associate at the London School of Economics. Also, Dr. Yueh is Director of the China Growth Centre at Oxford University, has served as an advisor to the World Economic Forum in Davos, the UK Government, the Asian Development Bank and others. She is a frequent media commentator, particularly for the BBC, CNBC, CNN and the Financial Times, among others.
